Matchpoint: Tennis Championships comes to Switch on Oct. 20th, 2022, new dev diary released

We’ve known for awhile now that Matchpoint: Tennis Championships was coming to Switch, but we didn’t have a release date. While other versions of the game are out now, Switch owners have a considerable amount of time to wait. We won’t be able to go hands-on with the game until Oct. 20th, 2022.

Along with the announcement of a Switch release date, Publisher Kalypso Media has released a new dev diary for Matchpoint: Tennis Championships. This video features Producer Kevin McIntosh and Game Designer Dave Mack as they discuss all things Matchpoint and delve into some of the features that players will experience in their journey to becoming World #1.

Matchpoint: Tennis Championships is a modern take on tennis, featuring a true-to-life on-court experience supported by a deep career mode and unique rivalry system. The game places a strong focus on tactical realism, positioning and aiming, allowing the player to move their superstar in exactly the right way to get the most out of their shots.
