Just one week from launch!
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak isn’t far off now! The DLC expansion is set to launch on June 30th, 2022, but Capcom still has a few things to share before we get to the release date.
First up, Capcom has released a quick snippet that shows off more of the jungle location you’ll be hunting in. Sure, the location looks lush and enticing, but don’t lose yourself. There’s danger lurking around every corner, and one false move could put you right into the jaws of a ferocious beast!
Next, two pieces of concept art for the expansion were shown. In the first image we’re introduced to Luchika, one of the knights of the Royal Order that you’ll meet in Sunbreak. She is deeply serious, hard-working, and a fine hunter, but her peers have strangely avoided hunting with her. Looks like we’ll have to play the expansion to find out why that is!
Along with that, Capcom shared the official render for Lucent Nargacuga in the Forlorn Arena! It definitely sets the vibe of this area, which is sure to provide the backdrop for an absolutely spectacular fight.
