Nintendo has a consider amount of female employees in their ranks, but those numbers dwindle the higher up you get in the company. Risa Tabata was the producer of the new Donkey kong country games. Aya Kyogoku directed the last two Animal crossing games. Those are the ones that come to mind.

But who cares? They are good and not because of their gender. People should be hired and promoted based on their merits not on sex, race or other superfitial traits.

Nintendo has always been male dominated. I don't know about lower down the ranks, but the only female leadership role within Nintendo I can remember was Perrin Kaplan. And that was with NOA, I've never heard of any female within NCL or NOE.
