Fans working on a dub of Nintendo's 1986 Super Mario anime

Nintendo might not show a lot of love to their animated Mario movie from 1986, but fans have been supporting it for years. Just a few months back the film got a complete restoration thanks to fans, and now the fan side of things is returning to the movie for something special.

In the tweet above, you can hear a sample of a fan-made dub of the animated Super Mario movie. The film has been available online with fan-translations and auto-generated subs, but this will be the first time we have an English audio version. Again, this is just the work of fans, but it’s one more way Nintendo lovers the world over will be able to enjoy the movie.
