Nintendo filming new commercial in Spain, most likely for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Here’s what we know for a fact. Nintendo is filming a new commercial in Spain. We know this thanks to a Spanish newspaper that not only reported on the matter, but also snapped some pictures of the filming location. You can scan through the gallery of pictures here.

Now it’s time for the speculation! We don’t officially know what Nintendo is filming this commercial for, but all signs point to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The most convincing bit of evidence is the presence of scarlet and violet flags on location, which seems too perfect to be a coincidence. Furthermore, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are inspired by both Spain and Portugal, so filming a commercial in Spain makes sense.

We likely won’t know what this commercial is for until the commercial actually releases, so let’s all remember this post when the debut commercial for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet comes out!
