Not that long ago, we caught a Bandai Namco trademark for Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits. At that time, we speculated that new localization was in the works. Turn out that’s true, and the official Asian release for Ace Angler: Fishing Spirts is set for Oct. 27th, 2022. You can see the debut trailer above, which confirms an English release.

It’s likely this game will also see release on the North American and European eShops, but Bandai Namco has only confirmed the Asian release at this time. Either way, this Asian version of the game includes English support, so you can download no matter where you live and enjoy.

Bandai Namco also released a short English commercial for the game, which you can see below.

The sequel to the global hit, “Ace Angler: Nintendo Switch Version”, which was released in 2019 and sold over 800,000 copies worldwide; this latest title in the series is set in an aquarium-themed amusement park. The park will contain five different attractions, and features not only fishing games but also a wide variety of other fish-themed games that can be played alone or with friends. Collect Medals in each of the attractions to acquire new fish, with the ultimate aim of completing the world’s greatest aquarium.

Even better, a Rod Controller bundle is going to see release as well. Again, you can import this option if you’re looking to go physical, and it will also include English language support. The package includes the following:

  • Main game: standard package edition
  • One Rod Controller (one main body + one reel)
  • Rod Controller purchase bonus: “Pirate Outfit Set” (usable in-game)
