IOS and Android versions potentially coming as well!
By now you’ve certainly heard of MultiVersus: Warner Brother’s new crossover platform fighter featuring characters from DC Comics, Cartoon Network, and more. Since the game has been announced the comparisons to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. series have been rampant, just as they we’re with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Well, the comparisons seemingly won’t be ending anytime soon as recent leaks suggest that MultiVersus might be making it’s way to Nintendo Switch sometime in the future.
As you can see above Twitter user @InTheShadeMV, who has posted many leaks for the game, states that there are references to these platforms as log-in devices in the game code.
This makes sense, Switch is currently the most profitable out of the big three consoles and there is already an audience for platform fighters on the system. Also, considering that the current version of the game supports cross-play and cross-progression across all currently available systems, it stands to reason that it may also apply to the Switch version should it come.
Of course these are all still rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt. While it’s fully possible for MultiVersus to come to Switch it’s also just as likely that this version was planned but then scrapped, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Should things change for the better or worse, we here at GoNintendo will report on it.
