Pompom: The Great Space Rescue demo live on the Switch eShop, full game release Oct. 2022

We learned about the upcoming Switch version of Pompom: The Great Space Rescue quite awhile ago, but it’s been radio silence for the last few months. Thankfully, developer Tomo Camp has been hard at work on the game, and today you can check out how things are coming along with a new demo!

Hop on the Switch eShop right now and search up Pompom: The Great Space Rescue to find a free demo! If you like what you play, you don’t have too much longer to wait for the full game to launch. While we don’t have a specific date just yet, we do know that Pompom: The Great Space Rescue will hit the Switch sometime in October 2022.

Pompom: The Great Space Rescue is a tribute to the SNES classics and the retro 16-bit era. In this platformer, you don’t control Pompom : you help him by moving the platforms and objects around him. For example, you can place springs, build bridges, prune vines or even light up ghosts. Travel through eight different worlds to face enemies and fight Captain Cat and his gang. From space to beaches full of flying fish to ancient temples lost in the jungle.
