Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door pre-order bonuses for Hong Kong revealed
3 goodies up for grabs
We’ve been covering pre-order bonuses for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for a few weeks now, and there’s quite a variety of goodies depending on the retailer you choose and where you live. Now those options have expanded once more, but this time we’re looking at what’s available in Hong Kong.
Turns out Mario fans in Hong Kong will actually have 3 different items they can scoop up, and all of them are quite interesting. You can get a look at all the pre-order bonuses in the gallery above, which includes character bookmarks, a roll of Paper Mario sticker tape and a postcard sticker set.
As you might have guessed, there are no other regions offering these items right now, and it’s likely to stay that way. We’ll keep an eye out for that to change, but if you want to get your hands on any of these bonuses, you’ll most likely have to turn to import retailers or auction sites after the game launches.

We could be seeing the film in motion very soon
Fans have been left waiting to see the next Sonic film in action for a while, but that wait may be coming to an end. While nothing super concrete has popped up, Twitter user Cineunfold, who’s shared a few correct tidbits about films such as Deadpool & Wolverine in the past, has shared that they’ve heard theaters already have their hands on the unreleased trailer.
Fans have been speculating that a trailer may release soon, as Paramount has announced some secret panels they’ll be hosting at the upcoming CCXP Mexico festival from May 3rd-5th.
While nothing is definitive, fans can only hope that where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Regardless, we should be seeing something soon, with the film hitting theaters in December of this year.

Fortnite co-creator Donald Mustard says game's success was "humbling"
A True Victory (Royale)
Fortnite has been going strong for seven years it’s easy to forget a time when it wasn’t one of the biggest names in gaming. Coming out of nowhere during the 2017 boom of battle royale shooters Fortnite’s colorful look and quirky style captured the interest of millions and hasn’t let go since.
One must wonder what it was like viewing Fortnite’s growth from behind the scenes, well we have some insight as co-creator Donald Mustard sat down with Games Radar to give his perspective on the series’ growth, you can reads his thoughts down below.
…such a humbling experience the more I reflect on it - and even the whole time, it was an amazingly humbling experience to see that something that I’ve been able to work on with, not just with a bunch of people, a lot of the core team who made Fortnite were people I had been working with for years even decades. We have something we collectively built together and in our heads thought ‘what if we did that thing, wouldn’t it be cool’. and to see that resonate and resonate and resonate with hundreds of millions of people is staggering. And then to be able to experiment in the way that we did.
at the time […] we were just making stuff up. Even the way that we structured the pacing of a battle royale match in our world, it was largely designs to give you most of your time where you were handing out with your friends and not engaging in combat.
“The fact that it kind of worked on the scale it did is astounding and wonderful. I will cherish it forever. I have had so many unique experiences with my own family and my own friends, my own kids, playing Fortnite but then being able to talk with so many people that have been able to be entertained by it. It’ll be a cherished thing for the rest of my life. And I can’t believe I got to experience it.”

New BlackMilk x The Legend of Zelda Collection on the way
Time for round 2
The award-winning first BlackMilk x The Legend of Zelda Collection was so much fun that the two companies are doing it again! Nintendo and BlackMilk are bringing out all-new gear inspired by the beloved franchise, with prints drawing on six incredible The Legend of Zelda stories.
The first time we saw these two companies come together was back in 2021, and that collab was so successful that there was a reprint of the clothing in 2022. Since then we’ve seen Pokemon and Princess Peach clothing lines as well, but now it’s finally time for the two powerhouses to release some new Zelda apparel.
The full BlackMilk x The Legend of Zelda Collection appears to be inspired by Tears of the Kingdom this time around, and we’ll get another glimpse of what’s to come from a sneak peek set for May 1st, 2024. The line itself will launch in full on May 7th, and if it’s anything like last time, expect it to sell out very quickly!
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door "Rogueport" video sneak peek
Docked and loaded
Ahead of its May 23rd, 2024 release, Nintendo has been sharing various trailers and promo videos for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door via social media. Today brings us another of those snippets, and this one gives us a quick tour of Rogueport. Give it a watch and see how much has changed since the GameCube original!
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the nefarious X-Nauts are after the treasure behind the Thousand-Year Door! With a map from Princess Peach, and the help of a few locals, Mario journeys through a colorful world made of paper to find them first.
To prevail in this quest, you’ll have to level up Mario and his friends, master timing-based attacks and badges to impress the audience on the stage of combat, and make use of all the abilities that come with being cursed—er, conveniently made of paper—like folding into a plane to cross big gaps or turning sideways to slip through narrow openings.

Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop set for Nov. 2024 launch
My uncle who works at Nintendo told me
Kasedo Games and developer Beard Envy have announced that the roguelite spaceship repair simulator, Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop, will land on Nintendo Switch in November. You can check out the latest trailer for this title above.
Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop is a hilarious repair sim with ultra-tactile mechanics and a roguelite format that challenges you to fix spaceships on an asteroid-bound service station. Compared to TV shows such as Rick & Morty and Adventure Time for its quirky and colourful art style, a new trailer has been released for Uncle Chops’ Rocket Shop showing off its unique aesthetic, dark humour and tactile gameplay via a selection of various in-game repairable modules.
Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop will cast you as Wilbur, a vest wearing Fox, who carves out a paltry living as a mechanic, repairing as many ships as he can to afford the ever-rising rent payments to his tyrannical boss, Uncle Chop.
With a range of tools, diagnostic devices, parts and workshop appliances, Wilbur will need to correct faults in the modules of procedurally generated spaceships, based on brand specific manuals which will be acquired along the way. From simple refuel jobs to total mechanical overhauls, you will need to frantically fumble, slice, loosen, tighten, grab and drop and try to complete as many jobs as possible within each daily time limit.
LEVEL-5 plans to continue MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED's story
A megaton announcement
It took quite some time for MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED to leave Japan, but the game finally made its worldwide debut just last week. This version of the title is the “complete” experiencing, meaning it packs in all the content the Japanese version received since launch. You’d think that would mean LEVEL-5 is done with the title, but apparently that’s far from the case.
In an interview with Game Rant, LEVEL-5’s Akihiro Hino was very open about the future of MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED. While specifics weren’t given, Hino did say that players can look forward to the game and story continuing from here on out. Again, we don’t know just how things will expand or when, but it’s clear LEVEL-5 has some more ideas they plan to implement in MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED.
In MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED, Earth faces invasion by an alien force, and a number of young people are chosen to pilot giant robots called Rogues to take back their home. In this mecha RPG, customize your Rogue to make it your own, master flashy attacks in the midst of battle, and enjoy an intricate tale full of rich characters.
