Knockout City 'Containment Breach' event starts Nov. 1st, 2022
Trouble's brewing...
Knockout City’s Containment Breach event kicks off on November 1st, 2022. Ever since Mutonium-13 and Chemical V have crossed paths, the mutant population’s been exploding out of the underground! Some of those slime-gifted Superpowers are rubbing off on everyday brawlers, and they’re taking them to the streets in a new dodgebrawl Playlist.
Super Mutant is a free-for-all battle where six brawlers play for points. Every hit, either damage or KO, awards a brawler one point. There’s just one, shall we say, big problem… One brawler at random will become the Super Mutant at the start of battle!
Super Mutant brawlers are ultra-powerful: They’re giant sized, run faster, have faster respawn times, take three hearts of damage to take down, are more resistant to stuns, and are souped-up with six Superpowers to blow away brawlers! Here’s every skill the Super Mutant possesses:
- Super Double Jump: an extra jump in midair!
- Super Healing Powers: regenerate a lost heart over time!
- Super Charge-Up: instantly charge a dodgeball, and get extra Overcharge from passes and Perfect Catches!
- Super X-Ray Vision: see and lock-on to opponents through walls at any distance!
- Super Strength: pick up brawlers by dodging into them!
- Super Ballform Bounce: Ultimate Throw when you roll onto a bounce pad in Ballform!
They get ALL OF THOSE AT THE SAME TIME. It’s bananas! For 90 seconds, the Super Mutant will rampage while brawlers fight the Super Mutant and each other to score hits. It’s worth fighting back against the Super Mutant though, because there’s bonus points on the line! Knock out the Super Mutant, and the brawler who does the deed gets four points for finishing them off.
The current Super Mutant will keep their powers until 90 seconds have elapsed – then, a new player is chosen at random to begin their super-sized spree for 90 seconds! You can keep track of who’s been chosen so far in the HUD’s lower-right corner. Every brawler will get a chance to go Super Mutant, and the match ends when the last brawler finishes their turn. The player with the most points is the winner!
Susan’s putting the new Mutant recruits through the Ten-Event-Contract course of her boot camp, and from what I hear, it’s brutal. You gotta use every limb, tentacle, claw, or wing to make it through in one piece, but there’s XP aplenty for the brawlers who best her challenges. Think you can take Susan’s course? Heh, break a leg, and hopefully you can regrow one when you’re done!
If a brawler’s bein’ a bad sport, don’t goop to their level… get the KO and let your slime do the sassing with the Legendary KO effect “You’ve Been Slimed!”, which you’ll earn for completing any four Event Contracts. Mark yourself as a mutant menace anytime by earning the Legendary Taunt “Super Mutant!” for completing eight Event Contracts.
Ratfink may have gotten flattened by Susan in boot camp, but why not give him a second chance to fight back? Pick up the Ratfink Bundle debuting with Containment Breach, and you’ll be able to guide everyone’s favorite dodgebrawlin’ gym rat to victory! Everything in the Ratfink Bundle can give your brawlers their very own rodent revamps. You can’t spell “treat” without R-A-T, and 3000 Holobux will treat you to a whopping eight customizations to play with:
- Legendary Outfit: “Ratfink”
- Legendary Face: “Whiskered Warrior”
- Legendary Gloves: “Ratcatchers”
- Epic Voice: “Dirty Rat”
- Legendary Player Icon: “Rat King”
- Epic Intro Pose: “Pipe Cleaner”
- Legendary MVP: “One Man’s Trash”
- Legendary KO Effect: “Mousetrap”
The Chemical V’s going to get contained by November 15th, and with it goes away every trace of Super Mutant mayhem. Ready to join the ranks of Susan and Ratfink? Then eyes (and eye-stalks, and antennae, and other assorted mutant appendages) up, because Containment Breach is about to blow up!
Knockout City's 'Holo-Ween 2022' event kicks off Oct. 18th, 2022
Don't be a Hallowiener and miss out!
If you’re a live-service game, you better make sure you have something cooked up for Halloween. Any live-service game worth its salt (or sugar, in this case) has a Halloween event planned far in advance, and Knockout City is no different. The Knockout City ‘Holo-Ween 2022’ fun kicks off Oct. 18th, 2022, and you can get a complete breakdown of what it offers below.
In the horrors of Holo-Ween, there will be three teams with two brawlers each meetin’ under the moonlight. But only one team will survive! KO a brawler, and they’ll drop candy for you and your teammate to collect, each worth one point. Oh, and if your brawler pal gives up the ghost, you can pick up their dropped candy to deny your foes from scoring. First team to 50 wins!
But here’s the real bone-chiller! When a brawler is KO’d… They’ll fly up with one final breath as an Ultimate Throw to try and have their revenge. You might be minding your own business, just eatin’ candy without a care in the world, then KABOOM! Lights out! That’s the Ultimate Trick part, see? If you get bonked and find yourself flyin’ like a bat outta Holowood, then try and get some sweet payback… if you dare!
Scare up a buddy of yours to help out in Candy Wars: Ultimate Trick, and you’ll chew through ‘em like chocolate. Every match you complete and every Spoopy Contract you seal the pact on gets you Holo-Ween Tickets. Clean out four Spoopy Contracts on your neighborhood block to jinx your profile with the “Holo-Ween Hiss” Legendary Player Icon. Chow down on eight Contracts and you’ll get a bubbly new brew to play with: the “Splash Potion” Legendary Ultimate Throw Hologram.
You’ll still get plenty of screams out of the Haunt Taunt Shop. Cash in your Holo-Ween Tickets here for some creepy customizations you can use all year round. The stars of this spooktacle are the 12 Legendary Taunts that give the Haunt Taunt Shop its name. There’s some funny, some frightful, and some flippin’ scary Taunts in this mix, and they’ve all got special sounds and animations to really sell their spookiness.
“Creepy Conjuror” — Crank up that Pirate Radio loud enough, and it’ll get loud enough to raise the dead…or at least, lift your spirits.
“Deal with the Devil” — Better read the fine print on all those Contracts you’re closing out, or you’ll get stuck with a dead-end job like me! Seal their fate as you throw a Brawler into a hazard… now that’s bad to the bone.
“Sweet Tooth” — Aww, ya like candy corn? Well once you see this fella’s fangs you might not feel so chipper. Yeesh, ever heard of a toothbrush? Taunts aren’t the only undead deal you’ll find in the Haunt Taunt Shop. Try rocking some spooky Legendary Poses to really get into the spirit of things, such as…
“Trick or Treat” — No need to smell my feet. Give ‘em a scare, then give ‘em some sweets!
“Dirt Nap” — Rest your bones in a not-so-cushy coffin to represent your disappointment at defeat.
“Toil and Trouble” — Stir up some trouble as you perfect your potion-brewing craft. Taste testers wanted.
“Vroom Broom” — Fire up this old broom and let it crypt! You’ll soar far above the sore losers below.
But scariest of all will be the fate of your unspent Holo-Ween Tickets after Holo-Ween ends - OoOoOoOo! They’ll vanish out of thin air, never to be heard from again. That’s a nightmare I wouldn’t wish on anyone, so you better spend as many as you can! ‘Cuz you can’t take them with you…Heh heh heh.
Summon up the Holo-Ween Havoc Bundle in the Brawl Shop, only available during Holo-Ween! That enchanting pointy hat means magical business, and 2400 Holobux will net you the complete spellcasting set:
- “Wicked Looks” Legendary Outfit
- “Magic Touch” Rare Gloves
- “Mystic Makeup” Legendary Face
- “Witch Hat” Legendary Hairstyle

Teaser released for Knockout City's 7th season
Big TMNT vibes here
The seventh season for Knockout City is coming out soon, and we don’t really know anything about it! Thankfully, developer Velan Studios is gearing up to show what this new season has in store. The reveals kicked off today with the first teaser trailer for season 7, which you can check out above.
It looks like season 7 is going to have some sort of toxic/radioactive vibe, as a bunch of toxic waste has been dumped into the city’s water system. While that would be deadly in the real world, it looks like the waste gives Knockout City denizens some special powers and fresh looks!
We’ll find out more about Knockout City’s 7th season on August 25th, 2022, according to today’s tease. Whatever gets revealed, rest assured we’ll bring it to you.
